The contestants, who were officially sashed at the exclusive “Brunch in Paradise” event at Scotty’s Smoke House on May 18th, represent communities from across the country. Over the next three weeks, these cultural ambassadors will undergo intensive preparation, honing their skills in public speaking, cultural knowledge, runway presentation, and talent performance, trained by renowned pageant expert, Alicia Bess-Anderson, owner of Prestige Pageant Management and styled by Miguel Ram of Miguel’s Beauty Creations. Each contestant brings her own unique story and perspective, representing the diverse communities that make up modern Guyana.
