Samuel Medas, Saiku Andrews & Rondell Positive Join Forces

- expected to be the most epic gospel collab of the year!

Gospel music fans! I’ve got the JUICIEST scoop that’s about to shake up your playlists! Guyanese gospel superstars Samuel Medas and Saiku Andrews have teamed up with Jamaica’s reggae-gospel king Rondell Positive for what might be THE most epic Caribbean gospel collab of the year!

Samuel Medas

If you’ve been vibing to “Good Over Here” and wondering what Sammy could possibly do next to top it, I’ve got your answer! This holy trinity of Caribbean gospel is dropping a track called “Rise Up De Sword” that’s about to have your spirit SOARING!

Never before have these three heavyweights shared the same track, and honestly? We’re not sure the music world is ready for this level of anointing in one song! 🔥

The title alone has me intrigued! It’s a powerful metaphor for the Bible as our spiritual weapon of choice. In a world where we’re all fighting battles left and right, these artists are basically saying: “Let God handle it!”

Let’s be real, who among us ISN’T dealing with some personal drama, work stress, or just general 2025 chaos? This track promises to be that reminder we all desperately need: human strength has its limits, but faith? That’s where the real power kicks in!

Saiku Andrews

When I caught up with Sammy about this epic team-up, he couldn’t hide his excitement. The collab apparently grew from mutual respect between these gospel giants and a shared vision to break down those pesky national boundaries in Caribbean gospel.

“This is ministry in action, uniting our voices to reach more souls,” Medas told us, looking like a man who knows he’s sitting on musical gold. “In an industry often characterized by competition, we’re demonstrating how collaboration can elevate the genre and extend our reach to make our message more impactful.”

He added (and I’m loving this part): “When artists come together, especially those with distinct voices and perspectives, they create something greater than the sum of its parts.” Preach, Sammy!

Rondell Positive

Jamaica’s own Rondell Positive is clearly FEELING this collaboration, telling me: “I’m absolutely honoured to be collaborating with Samuel and Saiku on this song. When Sammy reached out to me, it was a quick yes because it’s a young man who I’ve seen his work over the years and our spirits are somehow connected.”

The Jamaican star couldn’t stop gushing: “I love the fact that everything he does is word based about impacting people. It’s an amazing song. I believe it will give people an opportunity to hear authentic music. I believe people will see and experience the glory of God when this music is played, not just in Guyana but across the world. I look forward to seeing what it does. This collaboration is a blessing.”

The good news? “Rise Up De Sword” is in the final production stages! The even better news? We won’t have to wait long – it’s dropping “in the coming weeks”!

The track promises to blend all three artists’ unique styles into what’s being described as a reggae-infused sound that’ll have you both dancing AND praying. Now THAT’S the kind of multitasking I can get behind!

Keep those notifications on, we’ll update you the SECOND this Caribbean gospel banger drops!
