VOTING NOW OPEN FOR 17 MISS JAMZONE QUARTER FINALISTS

The popular tourism based, swimsuit pageant known for its dynamic delegates, infectious performances and electrifying production – Miss Jamzone Pageant 2023 – wish to officially announce its lineup for this year’s competition.

The pageant, which will take place during the highly anticipated annual Jamzone Summer break, promises to be a spectacular event, showcasing beauty, grace, and above all Guyana’s culture.

The quarter-finalists are Aliya Wong, Ariel Tross, Ashanti Corlette, Carolann Correia, Clendolita Lashley, Delanna Thomas, Jasmine Callendar, Jelena DaSilva, Judell Price, Laquana Johnson, Rayshana Gillis, Samya Goodman, Shanae Heber, Shania Haynes, Shequana Holder, Tiseena Harry and Trevlind Harry. Each delegate will represent their village of abode.

Following an outpour of applications, these 17 beauties were selected from almost 80 applicants.

With voting now open, the seventeen (17) delegates are vying for a chance to enter the Semi Finals of the Miss Jamzone Pageant 2023.

As of Monday, May 15, 2023, the public can vote for their favourite delegate by liking their photo, which can be found at @missjamzonepageant on Instagram!

The delegates with the highest scores will advance to the semi-finals of the competition.

Points accumulated from the votes amassed on social media, combined with their points for catwalk, stage performance, stance and smile will cement their place in semifinals of the competition.

Voting for social media ends on May 24th.

The nine (9) semi-finalists will be announced at the final event of Genesis Band Launch Independence Weekend- Soca and Wine, which begins at 4 pm on May 28th!

The winner of the pageant will be crowned queen and drive away with their own vehicle at the end of the pageant night, while the first and second runners-up will receive cash, amassing to over 3 million dollars.
