THE SEARCH IS ON FOR A MISS GUYANA CULTURE QUEEN 2025

Press Release

The Miss Guyana Culture Queen Pageant has officially opened applications for its 2025 competition, seeking exceptional young women to continue Guyana’s remarkable winning streak at the prestigious Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant.

Under the leadership of franchise holder Randy Madray, Guyana has established itself as a powerhouse in the regional competition, securing historic back-to-back victories in 2023 and 2024. Shemina Peroune made history as the first Guyanese to claim the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen title in 2023, followed by Shequana Holder’s triumphant win in 2024, cementing Guyana’s dominant position in the Caribbean pageant circuit.

The search is now on for ambitious young women who will vie for the chance to represent Guyana and potentially achieve an unprecedented third consecutive win at the international stage in St. Kitts later this year. The selected contestants will compete in the local pageant, where one exceptional queen will be chosen to carry forward the legacy of excellence established by her predecessors.

“We are looking for confident, culturally aware, and passionate young women who understand the significance of this platform and are ready to work tirelessly to maintain Guyana’s winning momentum,” stated Randy Madray, who has transformed the franchise since taking the helm in 2019. His leadership has already produced remarkable results, including a first runner-up placement in his inaugural year.
