Welp, here we are again. Valentine’ Day.

Could we consider it to be “just another day”? Sure but the same could be said for Mother’s Day. Or Christmas. Or a birthday. Or Independence day.
At the end of the day, nothing matters. Except the things we make matter. So if you want to make it matter, then do it. If you don’t, then don’t.
But damn it, I’ve said it once, I’ll say it a million times. I love love, you guys.
So I’m going to use that regular ass Wednesday as an excuse to show some extra-special, strawberry flavoured, red and pink coloured, overpriced chocolate love to those extra-special people. It’s so cute to see the thought some couples put into their V-Day celebrations:
A) The classic hotel room with rose petals and candles everywhere is a personal fav.
B) I remember in primary school, this boy had a crush on me and got me a single rose which was the sweetest thing ever and it cost probably $100. You know what else?
C) Picnics! With the basket and blanket and whatever little razzle dazzle you want to sprinkle will do it every time.
D) Heart-shaped chocolate boxes. Very gimmicky. Tends to be overprized this month. By my goodness, is it adorable.
However you want to treat your love, your friends or yourself, it’s really the thought that counts. Make it matter if it matters to you.
