Keepin’ it Real with K

New Relationship Blog

Guyana needs a healthy online space for women to share their relationship woes and receive solid advice that isn’t sugar-coated, to challenge their issues head on. Our experiences may differ, but we are all connected in some way or form, and can relate to each other woman to woman.

Every Saturday, in this space, we’ll be Keepin’ it Real! Addressing concerns in a logical, realistic, relatable, Guyanese way!

Hi, my name is Kesa A. Chase-Alexander, but you can call me K. I’m a mom, wife, secretary, mixologist and writer. I’m that person that everyone goes to for advice, help, a listening ear or just someone to vent to. I have experienced plenty in my 30-ish years on this green earth and I live my life in such a way where I can use my experiences to help others.

In my teenage years, I was an introvert with strict parents. I was the ‘be at home girl’, with the friends who knew the road. I had common sense, but no road sense. Without someone to offer guidance and a listening ear at that time, I was left in the open. I had my first child three months after my 18th birthday, and that experience taught me plenty, which eventually helped me evolve into the woman I am today.

Keepin’ It Real with K has been created to offer advice, a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on in those times when you’re unsure of your next step or what to do, or you just need another person’s opinion or a different perspective. It’s very important to me that people be heard, that’s why I’m here, for you to Keep it Real with me. I will listen to you, and offer sound advice through my writing on this blog, and share with others who may be experiencing similar issues. It is my intention to help you weigh your pros and cons in your relationship(s). I will be offering advice on circumstances regarding work relationships, spousal relationships, sibling or family relationships, friendships, etc. All I ask is that you Keep it Real

To communicate with me, you can send me an email at mizzk.potsalt@gmail.com. You have the option of remaining anonymous by using an alias when seeking advice or simply venting.

K soon come!
